1. Light up the place

Use solar path and string lights to create heart, messages or inside decorative jars and vases. Make your yard sparkle.

2. Socialize with neighbors in your own yards

Ask a few neighbors if they'd sit on their driveways to enjoy some music (if someone plays the guitar or an instrument -- even better!) There are many ways to have fun with others not mingling in each other's homes or yards. Contests like paper air plane racing or hula hoops are great ways to enjoy family, friends, and neighbors.

5. Reuse those boxes!

While at home, people placed more orders for delivery of their household goods than normal, which means that those cardboard boxes have really piled up!

Reuse those boxes and make them into play forts in the yard, paint or paper over them to create stylish and colorful containers for your bookshelves, or start a compost and compost your cardboard boxes to make great soil for your flowers and trees.
